Traced back to the temples of old The merchants traded with impermanent paper Legitimate commerce formalised by the bold An illusionary order had strengthened its hold Awaken now, observe the tragedy, calamity Man made catastrophe The modern creation of economic digital slavery... Do we continue cyclic consumption Or transcend these self-imposed restraints Condemned to submit to the subjugation These institutions own our lives They decide every mans worth and subject him to employment With the greed of the corporate machine The elite, like royalty, mitigate their ad diction to acquisition Keep the sheep clamouring for instant gratification There's always profits to be reaped in the sale of commodities Presenting the incentive Invest in war Denouncing honour for the sake of profit Trading life at the click of a button A unit of labour created at debt How have you all been so deceived into accepting these things Awaken now, observe the tragedy, calamity Man made catastrophe The modern creation of economic digital slavery... Do we continue cyclic consumption Or transcend these self-imposed restraints Bail out the bankers, maintain the infinite growth paradigm In the delirium of rampant consumerism An artificial construct, a pernicious deceit We caused the atrophy No thought of sustainability We are the bane of all creation Doomed to a life of ruin

What started out as a movement for peace Through the ages tainted by humanity as it degenerates Unfolding through the aeons Through the phases of dominion In the eternal pursuit for the essence of being Anthropomorphising celestial bodies Assigning deities to the inexplicable Absolving wickedness from the realm of man to an invisible hand Keep the masses on their knees and praying for deliverance Subservient ideology, asinine cultivation Belief in these absurdities Only serve as an aid to propagate Their inherent self-deception Keep the masses on their knees and praying for deliverance Subservient ideology, asinine cultivation Slaughtered for conflicting faith Inflict an inquisition Conquerors on a holy mission All for his glory, for his majesty In the perpetual search for meaning Prevailing dogmas are dividing commonality Behead in the name of our lord, consumed in the great delusion Devolve into sectarian existence Behold, the death of reason

Discharged upon this world, a blank slate ready to be filled Victims of culture, each path has been predetermined Aberrant structures, groom these complacent loyal subjects Taught to conform and obey Another cog in the industrial machine Trained for lives of subordination A ceremonial indoctrination The syllabus decides Classification based on reward Trading knowledge for a compliant drone The broader understanding withheld The vile maxim Just another establishment Manufacturing consent Altering history to exalt the dominant Regurgitating on command Subjects chosen, memorised and replicated Reluctantly selecting a vocation Addicted to material gain These docile automatons Benighted to the plight of fellow creatures Never truly reaching their potential Dreams are merely secondary Mass public failure by design The collapse of civic intellect And so they shape and limit their perspectives You manipulate the narrative Re-educate, the only way to escape the apathy Or succumb to cognitive dissonance

Gathered at the coliseum, the arena of lunacy Gazing at the gladiators as they hack at the limbs A vassal of aristocracy To observe this human circus, a familiar pastime Mere slaves dying by the blade All for the sake of keeping you entertained No hope in their pleas for grace Feverishly they welcome death, it elates Enter the chariots, just another distraction Every event created to divert the minds of men with the games we play These principles permeate, seeping within the assemblage The bloodlust is evident And it’s ingrained in our nature For we are born of this malevolence The deprivation of nurture Since the advent of the printing press The masquerade took another form Exploiting this inherent weakness Entwining propaganda, the fear mongers promote a new agenda Proliferating faith Appropriated by a myriad empires Bastardised by ill intent Disseminated to the sycophant audience The choruses of agony The scripture is designed to bring forth hate Commandeering our recreation, to facilitate their deeds Spoken word, apprehended With the aid of technological progression The transmission of radio waves This beast took flight Polluting your consciousness Sowing the divide Engulfed in the artifice Behold the television Disengage and unwind All of the wasted time Enthralled by a fictional emotive sequence Unequipped for the struggles of the daily grind Over encumbered by reality This tube is the gospel, the ultimate revelation Bypassing logic, circumventing our reasoning Programmed to pursue want as need Altering brain waves for hypnosis of the hive mind Oh what stain of an existence A life spent living in a prison Constant spectators accepting the tide of impressions A wretched state of self destruction An attention deficit Attention deficit Preoccupation with this virtual interest, a nonexistence A hollow truth, simulated subsistence We're digging our own graves The timeless art, perversion of the nescient.

Oh lord Asclepius, the bearer of the serpent Our surgeons long for thee Erudition lost to time Great skills of the physician are now immutably forgotten Devoured by superstition Psychosis confused for demonic Science expelled A mistaken curse upon your flesh They leave the maggots to feast Regress to savagery Introduce a new incentive Healthcare a mere by-product Crude methods of medicine Subjected to barbarity to discover the cause of all our afflictions Research sponsored and absorbed by industry To induce a lifetime of disease The helpless patients just kept alive by a thread Over medicate them, create a childlike dependence Generate diagnosis, to big pharma’s delight Sowing sickness, to reap the returns Treatment has been formulated to trigger a casual nexus Entrapped within a chemical straitjacket Left to wade through the blank crevasses of a mind, now contaminated Waiting for a saint to promise the panacea This is an assault on the mind an attack on your body, a broken oath Depersonalised condition Designed to profit from blight Oh lord Asclepius, the bearer of the serpent Our surgeons long for thee Erudition lost to time Great skills of the physician are now immutably forgotten They could not put a patent upon nature They engineered it and took over the biosphere With every bite You're steadily approaching death Noxious concoctions leading to a sense of emptiness Consciousness bombarded by intoxicants Genetics modified, perturbing this mortal coil With open arms, we welcome the approaching abyss

War Prestige 06:11
Malice, a characteristic Encoded in our genes All of this hate and aggression needs directing Throughout the annals of our history, we've glorified conflict Settlements form in defence Safety from the bandits With the ever-bigger threat Fortifications constructed Agriculture thrives Nourishing the soldiers Populations explode Resources depleted Neighbouring towns exposed Violently invaded Surpluses stockpiled Populace deleted And so they strive for conquest with their empires The infamy of war prestige The mythic tales of the monarchies forged in battle Dynastic rule claimed sovereignty Dominion gained by expansion Discord ensues From chiefdoms to kingdoms We've pillaged and plundered Punished the enemies Pre-empt the aggressors Inclined to obtain any asset beneficial to the state Evolving the weaponry of infantry Resulting in fire The shield and blade yield to gunpowder The introduction of the iron canon unleashed horrors unimaginable Redrawing borders Forcing nobility into nation states And so they strive for conquest with their empires The infamy of war prestige The mythic tales of the monarchies forged in battle Dynastic rule claimed sovereignty With colonisation Artillery brokered modernisation The mercenary Marching to combat wilfully The craft of metallurgy Recreated at an industrial scale Create a coalition and wealth will accumulate Rebuild what you have destroyed, strife is lucrative Remove all signs of dissidence, install their constituents Riches are ripped from the land. Gold, oil and iron ore For centuries incursions orchestrated, fooled by the common foe Brothers in arms, bound together Unaware of the causality, as they unleash an epoch of nuclear winter Famine befalls as life fades to ash The aftermath of blotting out the sun Smoke rises from our burning cities Fallout envelops the stratosphere Spreading the darkness of night Mass extinction at our own hands Total annihilation until the light returns To a barren earth devoid of life

about

Where the vultures gather, there is death. It does not hunt, it merely scavenges off the carrion. The ancients viewed it as the death eater, feeding off death to sustain it's own life. This is the main reason we have chosen the vulture as the central figure in our artwork. It symbolizes the nature of the ruling class. Forever lurking, waiting to feed off of our suffering and misery. The vulture is also revered in African cultures and is indigenous to South Africa.

Our society has been shaped and controlled by six systems or pillars. Each track is about the evolution and eventual misappropriation of each pillar by the ruling class. These pillars, being the monetary, educational, religious, entertainment, healthcare and military industrial complexes, have all been manipulated to produce and maintain a subservient and docile populace.
